The Ancients have used body adornment as far back as man can
remember. Some used animal bones and teeth for necklaces and
bracelets; while others used feathers, or plant vines for
headdresses. Over 3,000 years ago, according to jewelry historians,
the Egyptians were already using metals, gold and silver for body
adornment. They were also the first to incorporate metals and
precious stones into the jewelry. How clever! For some reason, they
knew that these gemstones have powerful properties. Their wisdom has
surely given us great ideas on how to utilize the properties of gems
and stones in our daily life, by putting them on the jewelry we
choose to wear.

This is a stunning sterling silver ring with a multitude of
precious gemstones. This ring has a definite blue theme,
with eye-catching stones that include Blue Chalcedony,
Caribbean Druzy, Iolite, Topaz and Apatite. Silver beads and
swirls complete this ring. This is gorgeous! The ring is
open in the back for adjustment - not more than one size
than you need though so it won’t stretch the band badly. I
