King Theoden’s nephew spewed out his disgust and
frustration towards the King of his kingdom, Rohan. “He
no longer recognizes who is kin or foe!”, he informed
Aragorn and his two companions, Legolas, an elf, and
Gimly, a dwarf. “The King is under the spell of a white
wizard!” Great. Now what?? If the King is under the
spell of an evil wizard, then who is running the
kingdom? Similar question many of us simple folks like
myself ask nowadays… who is running the country??
In my 34 years of living in the US, I could not recall a
time that Israel and the United States had not been in
the same side of the aisle, so to speak. They have been
great friends, great allies, and have trusted one
another on issues and concerns on the safety of either
country. What happened? The last time I heard the news
the US is throwing Israel under the bus. Can this be
true that the US ‘no longer recognizes a friend (kin) or
an enemy?’
As one astrologer wrote, “the gap between who we were
and who we’re becoming seems to be too wide to
traverse.”
Like Gandalf, the Grey wizard had to choose either to
follow Saruman, the evil white wizard, once his
superior, or to follow his own calling – to aid the Ring
Bearer, Frodo Baggins.
“These two months, June and July mark a major transition
from a cycle that started back on November 4, 2008, when
structured Saturn and explosive Uranus made the first of
five oppositions. This pattern, which closely followed
the banking and insurance crises, and arrived on the day
Barack Obama was elected president, finally ends on July

saying?
When Uranus, the untamed planet who caters to
uncertainty, disruption and radical changes is opposed
by Saturn, the disciplinarian and teacher, cultural
shock and unrest is eminent. The opposition aspect
mentioned above between these two planets brings about
an authority-questioning skepticism. Are we reliable and
capable enough to carry out the tasks we signed up to
do? Do we know who our friends and allies are?
Uranus’ transit in Pisces (January 17 – June 6, 2010,
again on September 9 –January 2011) has torn apart our
beliefs - all kinds of beliefs have been tested;
religions, global warming, science, the government, etc.
Now, a possible explosive ending of these old beliefs
shall finalize so a new beginning may rise.
Grimma, the king’s personal physician and counsel,
seduced by the power and fame of Saruman, was in command
of the Kingdom and had conveniently aided the evil
wizard to put the King under a vicious spell. King
Theoden’s consciousness returned with the help of
Gandalf, the wizard. Sadly, only to find that his son
had been killed, the Roharian soldiers driven out of the
kingdom and Rohan, his kingdom itself, was at the brink
of being attacked by the unstoppable massive force of
Saruman and his army of Orks.
