Geared to nitpick anything questionable, the analytical Virgo Moon opens the door to the month of November. Her meticulous attempt to correct mixed messages will be evident on November 2^nd, Election Day. A Lunar opposition to Jupiter around mid-day, then later in the afternoon to Uranus, promises big breakthroughs.

November 5^th, New Moon in Scorpio at 13 degrees

November 7^th, Venus enters Libra, still in its retrograde movement until November 18^th. Relationships will face another set of tests of insecurity; the unstable ones will break off while the stable ones will work for a deeper understanding of each other. The Moon’s conjunction to Mars in the athletic sign of Sagittarius can be emotionally blunt and abrasive to humans. Be careful with your choice of words – the words can be a weapon, and can travel faster and further than expected.

November 8^th Mercury moves into Sagittarius. Communication will be philosophical and far visionary. This planet of communication in its detrimental sign cautions everyone to be diplomatic and be considerate of other’s opinion. Many of us will be curious of foreign affairs and foreign culture, as well. Mercury will remain in Sagittarius until November 29^th

November 18^th, good news! Both Jupiter and Venus, planets of good fortune and attraction will go in direct motion. Great things are on the horizon - give them a few days to fully pick up speed. There’s a feeling of greater hope and excitement, indeed.

Jupiter has been retrograde since July 23, 2010. It is now going to travel in direct motion until August 2011. Advancement, opportunity, prosperity, and fulfillment are among of Jupiter’s characterization. Venus brings forth a sense of beauty, harmony and faith in our love life – a celebration is on the agenda for many of us. Venus continues to travel direct until May 2012.

Sensitive Moon in Cancer opens the door to the month of October. Emotions will come to the surface to review unresolved issues. This is the time to face it squarely but not to hold any grudges, guilt or fear – not worth it! Mercury, the planet of communication will be in a hard aspect with four other planets on the same day – provocative communication needs to be curtailed.

This can also be a time of spiritual and emotional healing if one can handle the truth. Bending facts to fit one’s beliefs may not be the way to avoid uncomfortable realities.

October 6^th, New Moon.

October 8, Venus, the planet of love and attraction goes retrograde in the sign of Scorpio for the whole month. This aspect requires of us to get a handle on our values, both personal and professional. We all need to find ways to resolve relationship conflicts. Regardless of the way we chose, we are given the opportunity to learn to cooperate, to work and play together. Sadly, some of us will keep going back to old expectations.

Mars, also in the sign of Scorpio continues its journey that started on September 14^th, and will remain in Scorpio almost throughout the month. Many of us are experiencing the intensity of repressed emotions, a feeling of being deprived. A relaxed environment and yoga exercise are great emotional outlets – try it and you’ll love it!

Jupiter (in Pisces) in its retrograde motion continues throughout the month. We are encouraged to carry on backtracking those new ideas or enterprises that were initiated last June.

October 22^nd, Full Moon.

The next day, October 23, the Sun moves into the sign of Scorpio and passes Retrograde Venus on October 28^th. Once again, deep-seated issues about relationships will come up, revealing truth of likes and dislikes. Is it a desire for a true love or a yearning to be made love to? Say so …

October 27^th, Mars moves into the sign of Sagittarius, encouraging us to aim for something BIG for the future. Just make sure you’ve done your homework before taking action.

October 31^st. May you all have a fantastic “All Hallows” celebration. May your communing with ghouls, ghosts, vampires, witches, fairies and angels be fun, playful and magical! Trick or Treat!!
