Lunar Insight
One thing and only one thing (for now) that
astronomers, astrologers, geologists, sailors, poets,
weatherpersons, fishermen, doctors, nurses and psychiatrists can
seem to agree upon, the Moon and Her amazing influences in nature
and on human behavior.
In astrology, as women, we are ruled by the Moon,
which represents our emotions and feelings. With it, is the
receptivity of others’ emotions as well, the reason why intuition is
far more stronger in women than in men. As Wise Women, we have the
power to capture Her magnificence and apply it into our daily life.
To begin with, we have a new moon, a time for starting new projects,
then two weeks after, we have a full moon, a good time to expect
fruition then release those that are no longer beneficial to the
project.
So, here we go…

New Moon in Pisces, 14°

Happy New Moon in Pisces Everyone!
Every year we go
through the process of ending to give way to a fresh new beginning.
As the Sun moves into the sign of Pisces, the twelfth and last sign
of the zodiac wheel, it signals a time to discard those patterns and
habits that are no longer supporting us. Pisces, is a sign of
escapism, and therefore, when it is ill-dignified, the sign of
fanatics, drug abusers and alcoholics. The positive side of Pisces
is the strong intuitive, spiritual and compassionate nature.

During
this New Moon in Pisces, it is not only that the Sun
and the Moon are in poetic Pisces, but joining them
are Mercury, Mars, Uranus and Chiron. The Sun and
Moon trigger a fresh start of a Lunar cycle that is
rooted in faith and spiritual beliefs inspired by
our imagination. Mercury may be used to reflect what
are our true wishes and desires. Chiron offers a
gift of healing, a bridge is being laid out to meet
differences in our beliefs system. Mars recent move
into Pisces last February 24th, remaining
there until April 2nd, encourages
altruism, thus providing motivation to reach our
dreams however unreachable they may seem.
Uranus, teetering in the last degree of Pisces, will
move to pioneering Aries on March 11th to
establish its position there for the next seven
years - until March 6, 2019, introducing new ideals
and a new manner of existence. This revolutionary
planet's unpredictable nature will accelerate both
the wonders of technology and the horrors of human’s
rebelliousness and foolhardiness.
That
said I can’t help but to quote a disgusted Lando in
one of Babylon 5 episodes, who says… “Ahh!…
stupidity and ignorance in the same package…how
convenient!” Let’s all hope that we all think more
like Captain John Sheridan and the Mambari
ambassador, Delenn during this interesting time in
life. We can’t let the Shadows take over our life
now, can we?
Just a
brief historical thought about Uranus in Aries
history… The last time Uranus was in Aries was March
3rd, 1927 to March 3rd, 1935.
Examples of the kinds of serious issues that
appeared around that period were economic and
political… the Great Depression, the growth of
fascism and attempts to enforce global domination
through force of arms. From 1932 to 1934 Uranus
formed five squares to Pluto, which was then in the
sign of Cancer, the sign of homeland, domesticity
and family unity/security. The current transit of
Uranus in Aries will form seven squares to Pluto in
the sign of Capricorn (opposite of Cancer) from 2012
to 2015. This aspect usually affects big
corporations,
financial institutions,
the government and senior citizens.
Uranus is considered an outer planet, thus
astrologers believe the effect to be global. Uranus
completes its orbit or goes through all the twelve
signs every 84 years.
On Sabian Symbols…Dane
Rudhyar, Astrological Mandala… 14
degrees in Pisces indicates, “A Lady wrapped in a
large stole Fox Fur. Keynote: The use of
intelligence and mental subtlety as a protection
against storms and trials.”
My
thoughts... Protection, either personal or
instinctual, is acquired by being observant rather
than being blatant. It is discriminate thinking that
humans must use in order to survive thru trials and
tribulations that may be experienced during this
time.
Have a Blessed New Moon!
... and Keep sharing the Light!
