Lunar Insight
One thing and only one thing (for now) that
astronomers, astrologers, geologists, sailors, poets,
weatherpersons, fishermen, doctors, nurses and psychiatrists can
seem to agree upon, the Moon and Her amazing influences in nature
and on human behavior.
In astrology, as women, we are ruled by the Moon,
which represents our emotions and feelings. With it, is the
receptivity of others’ emotions as well, the reason why intuition is
far more stronger in women than in men. As Wise Women, we have the
power to capture Her magnificence and apply it into our daily life.
To begin with, we have a new moon, a time for starting new projects,
then two weeks after, we have a full moon, a good time to expect
fruition then release those that are no longer beneficial to the
project.
So, here we go…

Happy New Moon Everyone!
We have come to the time that fresh
ideas, and new knowledge about our
societal existence take the number one
priority. Using new technologies and new
inventions are among the common
interests among many of us involved in
large projects and organizations. The
message to remember around this new moon
is to socialize, to network, and to put
forth new ideas.

During this New Moon in
Aquarius, we also have Mercury opposing Mars - this
aspect usually triggers misunderstanding in
communication. While we are presenting our bright
ideas, it is conceivable that we will be accused of
being emotionally insensitive or hostile; it is
prudent to be thoughtful in our remarks and make a
conscious effort to express ourselves using
non-offensive words and deeds. Being aware of others
around us whose tender emotions may easily be
bruised, when none is intended, may need to be put
in practice at the moment. Though, we are also
reminded not to fall victim in an offensive scenario
either – a warning of an awkward aspect between Mars
and Saturn, both malefic planets. Give flowers,
instead!! 
That would soften a situation - if it does
come up.

According to Chinese Five
Element Astrology Calendar, 2010 is the Year of
Metal Tiger. Metal is related to
Gold, many would say that 2010, is a golden year.
The optimists believe this year to be a lucky year.
We also know that the five elements are: metal,
water, wood, fire, and earth – in theory the color
representing metal is White. So, what is it, Golden
Tiger or White Tiger year?? In China the White
Tiger is thought to be the opposite of lucky.
Hmmm... but, Tigers have a golden and white stripes
so, I’d say we will experience both??
… our choice!
