Lunar Insight
One thing and only one thing (for now) that
astronomers, astrologers, geologists, sailors, poets,
weatherpersons, fishermen, doctors, nurses and psychiatrists can
seem to agree upon, the Moon and Her amazing influences in nature
and on human behavior.
In astrology, as women, we are ruled by the Moon,
which represents our emotions and feelings. With it, is the
receptivity of others’ emotions as well, the reason why intuition is
far more stronger in women than in men. As Wise Women, we have the
power to capture Her magnificence and apply it into our daily life.
To begin with, we have a new moon, a time for starting new projects,
then two weeks after, we have a full moon, a good time to expect
fruition then release those that are no longer beneficial to the
project.
So, here we go…

Happy Full Moon in Virgo, Everyone!
This Full Moon is the second of the six Super Moons this year, the first
being on February 18th. Super Moons are said to generate energy
several times stronger then that of a regular full moon. This is an occasion
where the Moon will be the closest to Earth in sixty years. The fact that
this event is occurring the day before Vernal Equinox, when the Sun moves
into Aries, is another indication of its potency. |
On March 11th, 2011, Uranus
moved into the sign of Aries, a date we will never forget as it brought
devastation to Japan. This Full Moon in Virgo opposes the Sun in Pisces
at 29 degrees. With Uranus in close proximity to the Sun, emotional
outbursts may be uncontrollable. A couple hours later, the Moon quickly
moves into the sign of Libra to help us adjust to sudden changes caused
by the radical lunation mood. However a tense aspect between the Moon
and Uranus, followed with Pluto through the evening, could cause earth
movements. Uranus rules natural disaster, Virgo is an earth sign, 29
degrees is a critical degree for ending. Let’s hope astrologers are
wrong on their calculations therefore their predictions.
On another note, Neptune, planet of
illusion, is in its last degrees of Aquarius, gliding to visit Pisces in
a few days. So information we get now could be a mix of fact and
fantasy.
Speaking of information, Mercury, its
ruler, is preparing for its retrograde motion from March 30 to April 23.
A wise thing for us to do is to back up all files, check all paperwork
for fine prints, follow-up on schedules and appointments, and don’t
forget your means of transportation and your travel schedules.

My thoughts… Virgo 29 degrees + 29 degrees
Pisces, indicates that every crises that Man goes through, has a history
of its beginning, therefore there is also an ending. It is always the
same. This root knowledge will help us to align the mind and spirit, as
a birth of a new foundation comes into being. We are reminded that
through acceptance of multi-differences, such as between the old and the
new, the man and woman, the dark and the light, can awaken beauty in our
existence. .
