Lunar Insight
One thing and only one thing
(for now) that astronomers, astrologers, geologists,
sailors, poets, weatherpersons, fishermen, doctors,
nurses and psychiatrists can seem to agree upon, the
Moon and Her amazing influences in nature and on
human behavior.
In astrology, as women, we are
ruled by the Moon, which represents our emotions and
feelings. With it, is the receptivity of others’
emotions as well, the reason why intuition is far
more stronger in women than in men. As Wise Women,
we have the power to capture Her magnificence and
apply it into our daily life. To begin with, we have
a new moon, a time for starting new projects, then
two weeks after, we have a full moon, a good time to
expect fruition then release those that are no
longer beneficial to the project.
So, here we go…

Full Moon in
Sagittarius,
25°
Lunar Eclipse

Greetings
everyone!
There’s a
Total Lunar Eclipse on this Full
Moon in Sagittarius. The archer has
its bow and arrow aiming to the
heavens to find Truth, Sagittarius’
key phrase says, “I Seek”.
Mercury, depicted as a trickster,
plays a big role due to its close
approximation to the Sun ( 3°
),
while it opposes the Moon during
this major event, a total lunar
eclipse. Buried and repressed
emotions may now rise to the surface
forcing us to look at them, eye to
eye. TRUTH must come out
|
as
it becomes apparent that there
may have been deceptions and
manipulation of the facts in the
past in the areas of figures and
finances. Consciousness
expansion, mind games and an
abundance of information will
overload our psyche and our
lives in the next few weeks. It
is wise to avoid the “big mouth
syndrome”. Big words and
superficial appearances may need
to be curtailed in order to
persuade others.
The “old
belief” has it that the Lunar
Eclipse will impact the
matriarchy, the lives of notable
women in the current era. I
personally believe that we may
witness displays of
righteousness and judgmental
attitudes toward others’ belief
system, and/or their political
views. The question is… do we
believe them as facts (truth),
or because we have largely
invested (Moon in Sagittarius)
our emotions into them?

Sabian Symbols on Astrological
Mandala, by Dane Rudhyar
Gemini
25 degrees indicates
“Frost-covered trees against
winter skies. Keynote: The
revelation of archetypal form
and essential rhythm of
existence.”
Sagittarius 25 degrees
symbolizes “A chubby boy on a
hobby horse. Keynote: The
anticipation of enjoyment of
powers one can only as yet dream
of utilizing.
My
thoughts…
25 degrees
Gemini + 25 degrees Sagittarius
indicates the process of pruning
or cutting off all the
superficialities of existence. A
well-fed boy was given a play
toy, a hobby horse, a symbol of
power (horse) to the
inexperienced.
Have
a Blessed Full Moon!
And, Keep Sharing
the Light!
