Lunar Insight
One thing and only one thing (for now) that
astronomers, astrologers, geologists, sailors, poets,
weatherpersons, fishermen, doctors, nurses and psychiatrists can
seem to agree upon, the Moon and Her amazing influences in nature
and on human behavior.
In astrology, as women, we are ruled by the Moon,
which represents our emotions and feelings. With it, is the
receptivity of others’ emotions as well, the reason why intuition is
far more stronger in women than in men. As Wise Women, we have the
power to capture Her magnificence and apply it into our daily life.
To begin with, we have a new moon, a time for starting new projects,
then two weeks after, we have a full moon, a good time to expect
fruition then release those that are no longer beneficial to the
project.
So, here we go…

Happy Full Moon Everyone!
This
Full Moon is another one of those Super Moons – they bring a certain
emotional intensity that affects many of us in the deep core of our being.
The diplomatic attitude of the Moon in Libra is usually well received, but
this is one case where Libra’s social graces will be heavily tested.
Relationships issues are being pushed into the foreground to redefine
boundaries and restate where compromises are necessary. A lunar opposition
to headstrong Mars and uncontained Uranus (both in Aries) can
spark spirited arguments. Another tense
aspect to manipulative Pluto
(in Capricorn) |
follows a few hours later that can draw out
skepticism and mistrust of one another. Saturn (in Libra) stands by
reminding us all to introduce a mature, well-planned negotiation on any
partnership issue.
The Sun in independent Aries is opposing
accommodating Libra on this Full Moon. We all must seek the middle
ground, the balance of the contrasting needs of self-interest and
partnership. Do we really know what we want? And, with whom do we want
to be? A few hours after the Full Moon, at 11:19 pm, the Moon’s ingress
into secretive Scorpio highlights the need to find truth. A deeper look
into our fears, hidden desires and shared resources are the most
vulnerable areas at this time. Perhaps, it is best to have the courage
to be honest, share our truth with those we love.
In Sabian Symbols…
Astrological Mandala by Dane Ruhdyar…
28 degrees Sun in Aries
indicates: “A large audience confronts the performer who disappointed
its expectations. Keynote: The necessity for mature preparation and
self-criticism.”
28 degrees Moon in
Libra: describes, “A man becoming aware of spiritual forces surrounding
and assisting him. Keynote: The realization at any level of existence,
that one is never alone, and that the “community” –visible or invisible
is sustaining one’s efforts”
My thoughts…
28 degrees Aries + 28 degrees Libra
indicates that, Man must be fully aware of having promised great hopes
and exciting expectations that cannot be delivered. He cannot do it
alone, he must reach for spiritual forces, his own people, and his
community for guidance or the dark path of ego-isolation will be his
only companion.
Have a Blessed Full Moon!
And Keep Sharing the Light!
