Lunar Insight
One thing and only one thing (for now) that
astronomers, astrologers, geologists, sailors, poets,
weatherpersons, fishermen, doctors, nurses and psychiatrists can
seem to agree upon, the Moon and Her amazing influences in nature
and on human behavior.
In astrology, as women, we are ruled by the Moon,
which represents our emotions and feelings. With it, is the
receptivity of others’ emotions as well, the reason why intuition is
far more stronger in women than in men. As Wise Women, we have the
power to capture Her magnificence and apply it into our daily life.
To begin with, we have a new moon, a time for starting new projects,
then two weeks after, we have a full moon, a good time to expect
fruition then release those that are no longer beneficial to the
project.
So, here we go…

Happy Full Moon in Leo, Everyone!
This
dramatic Full Moon in Leo is emotionally charged, ready to light some
fireworks. But all this showmanship is just that… showmanship. Substance is
lacking for upholding personal intention due to the oppositions coming from
dreamy Neptune, noisy Mercury, abrasive Mars and the Sun, all in the sign of
Aquarius. It is time to think out of the box… and live out of the box, or
our habitual comfort zone. These contradictive energies, however, can be
worked out when we acknowledge others, or group concerns (Aquarius) to
counteract drama and self-interest (Leo). |
This is the fifth Full Moon in last degree of the sign. More than ever,
it is now apparent that we must end outmoded ideas and patterns.
Stagnation and inertia can only last for so long. We are being directed
to a dumping ground for all past self- indulgent interests. The
lifestyle or social standing we once knew or were familiar with are
disappearing. There’s no turning back now! It’s time to buckle up and
start putting some action into our brilliant ideas, but do choose to act
on something that is not harmful to yourself or others. We are being
forced to make a difference for the whole humanity – starting from the
SELF.
The Lady Moon’s move into the sign of Virgo an hour after the Full Moon
brings down practicality to our disposition. We are urged to handle big
problems by dividing them into small parts in order to solve them
systematically. We are reminded to pay special attention in the areas of
finances and relationships, courtesy of Venus-Saturn square.

My thoughts… 30 degrees Leo + 30 degrees Aquarius, symbolizes a proud
nature of Man whose messages must be shared, and not be hidden for
superficial purposes. Nothing can be permanently sealed. We are at the
time that a great story of human evolution is unfolding. Each one of us
plays a very important character that brings definitions and color to
make the story come alive.
