Lunar Insight
One thing and only one thing (for now) that
astronomers, astrologers, geologists, sailors, poets,
weatherpersons, fishermen, doctors, nurses and psychiatrists can
seem to agree upon, the Moon and Her amazing influences in nature
and on human behavior.
In astrology, as women, we are ruled by the Moon,
which represents our emotions and feelings. With it, is the
receptivity of others’ emotions as well, the reason why intuition is
far more stronger in women than in men. As Wise Women, we have the
power to capture Her magnificence and apply it into our daily life.
To begin with, we have a new moon, a time for starting new projects,
then two weeks after, we have a full moon, a good time to expect
fruition then release those that are no longer beneficial to the
project.
So, here we go…

Happy Full Moon Everyone!
Leo is the lover of the
zodiac, while Leo’s opposing sign, Aquarius, is the individualist. The
Full Moon in Leo is welcoming a new hope, a chance for us to harmonize
friendships and family situations, something that may have been a
struggle to deal with as an emotional residue from the recent eclipses.
(Cancer/Capricorn) It is now time to get in touch with our creative
playful self, and

enjoy the company with whom we feel
loyal to. Others may feel drawn towards getting affectionate
attention –we all can use it, anytime, can’t we? So, go on
and have fun!
Only one more thing to be aware of
during this time… the Sun is opposing competitive Mars (Jan
25- Jan 31) creating an outburst of energy, such as
arrogance, quick anger and bold action that may result in a
spirited confrontation, or worse, for it can backfire. In
some other cases, this is a question of leadership. Are we
going to act like a spoiled child who lost his toy to his
playmate? Or, are we going to stand up and be a good sport?
Be a leader on the next round?? We must remember that full
moons bring light to the shadow, to what was hidden. We
humans are being compelled to live from our essence – the
light and warmth that circulates around the heart charka,
and to utter the words...
