Current Lunar Insights Column
One thing and only one thing (for now) that
astronomers, astrologers, geologists, sailors, poets,
weatherpersons, fishermen, doctors, nurses and psychiatrists can
seem to agree upon, the Moon and Her amazing influences in nature
and on human behavior.
In astrology, as women, we are ruled by the Moon,
which represents our emotions and feelings. With it, is the
receptivity of others’ emotions as well, the reason why intuition is
far more stronger in women than in men. As Wise Women, we have the
power to capture Her magnificence and apply it into our daily life.
To begin with, we have a new moon, a time for starting new projects,
then two weeks after, we have a full moon, a good time to expect
fruition then release those that are no longer beneficial to the
project.
So, here we go…

Happy Full Moon, Everyone!
During this Full Moon, Jupiter, the traditional ruler of Pisces,
in close contact with the Sun in Pisces, highlights our Divine
connectedness to everyone and everything around us. In the
spiritual realm, we are One. Meanwhile, we are urged to get
beyond the bounds of what our religion and society
dictates. Is what I believe truly my own or
suggestive input from society? Is this belief one |
that helps me to become a person of ethics and dignity? Or,
is being timid is the way to allow society to take care of
my needs?
Once again health, employment and
education are the center of discussion by our nation’s
leaders. Jupiter is contradicting the Moon, exposing an
enormous gap between the illusory expectation and the
reality. Imaginary hope (Jupiter in Pisces) is challenged by
reality, backed by meticulous data (Moon in Virgo).
On a personal level, the wishful
thinking is hampered by the reality that real healing can
only come from the awareness of our inner truth – never
outside of the self. The idea is not to lose the inspiration
for a better tomorrow as we develop a methodical plan for
how to get there.
I bring forth
only things which are loving, healing and positive.
