Your suggestion on lighting unscented candles in the Lunar Insight Column, what is the reason for that? I love the scented ones, especially Vanilla.
Answer:
I love the scent of Vanilla, too! But in candle working (magic) the scent of Vanilla may not be appropriate for the result you wish to obtain. Quite often a candle manufacturer uses synthetic fragrances instead of herbals, a natural scent of the plant. Every plant has its own magical and planetary properties. By applying the plant material yourself, you’re closer to earth energy and with the process you employ into the unscented candle, would carry your personal energy thus adding the possibility of manifesting your intention.

Basicly, I don’t want a reading on the past. I am feeling very dismal and would just like to see a little light at the end of the tunnel if possible. I would love to know if I will find my Life Partner, if you see me finally getting out of this situation with my ex and my future finances. Sometimes, I have a fear of becoming a bag woman. Answer:
When a reader attempts to touch some past issues, it is usually to insure whether he or she is on the right track and should only take a couple answers to confirm it. Based on the length of your email, I came to a conclusion that these are the issues you wanted to discuss:
1. What lies the future for my company?
2. What shows for my joint book and my own book?
3. What shows for me in the area of relationships?
If I spend ten minutes on each question doing research based on your secondary progression, your reading will take me at least a half hour. You may also want to check the metaphysical stores in your area, they usually have great readers who can help you.

Hello Everyone!
Well…the mountain is truly gorgeous! The breeze is refreshing. The nights are very dark which magnify the brightness of the stars. I did experience, unexpectedly, the icy quality of the planet Uranus on our first weekend. Saturday morning we woke up with six inches snow, everywhere – the top of the head of my little garden figurine Buddha was all that was showing of him. Still nursing a couple of my plants from a climate shock but I think (I hope) they’ll survive.
Ok, back to business… I had over four hundred emails, (many were spam though) thank you for all your kind words and thoughtfulness, John and I do really appreciate it. I shall make time to email you back within this week. We did finally get our computer hooked up late last night so I hope to write more this week –after the unpacking routine .

Yes, John and I have reached the point in life that we want to live in the mountains- Lake Arrowhead, that is! We want to see the stars again, feel the fresh mountain breeze, raise vegetables, and herbs, etc. We have planned this move out of the area since 2005, right after we closed Mystical Minds, we just weren’t quite clear where to. We only knew that we wanted to follow Bilbo Baggins’ idea… to the mountains!
Our actual move starts on May 15th to be completely finished (hopefully) by June 1st.
The seventeen years I have lived in Dana Point is exact half of my entire residence in the United States – I will surely miss it, especially the many people who have become so dear to me. I hope to see all of you whenever you visit Lake Arrowhead. Or, perhaps stop by Palmarosa Cottage, (we named our new home) on your way to Big Bear.
I will have an 800 number installed as soon as we get situated so I can continue phone readings; and John and I will be offering metaphysical workshops and magical events for serious metaphysical practitioners at Palmarosa Cottage to start in mid summer or early fall. My email and website addresses shall remain the same. I hope to continue the website updates without much interference.

Question: I enjoy reading your New and Full Moon articles for over a year now, you’re usually pretty right on. How long does the energy stay as described in the write up? I was told it last for three days.

Answer: The Moon stays in one sign for two days and a half. The moment the Moon moves to the next sign, her objective changes. What you have to watch for is, while she’s getting ready to move into the next sign, a Moon Void of Course occurs. It usually means that new start-ups, in the case of a New Moon, may not get off the ground the way you expected – or not ever. But, remember that you have the whole first quarter moon to work on new beginnings.
