Your own astrological-tarot reading can also be utilized to learn tarot and basic astrology.
Many of you get a reading regularly, two or three times a year, others have required a more frequent reading due to a present or urgent situation in life. A new concept that I thought would be helpful for some clients is to learn to understand the system, the symbols of the cards, etc, for their in-between readings. Understanding the meaning of the cards can help a great deal in getting a clear message from the subconscious.
To do this you need your own tarot deck, a speaker phone, pencil and paper and of course, my toll-free office phone number. You will be guided on different layouts of the cards, the astrological correspondence of each card as they appear on your spread, as well as the meaning where the cards appear on the twelve astrological houses spread. The reading will proceed; the interpretation of the cards will be discussed.
For those who want to do this on a bi-weekly bases, (or monthly if preferred) of four or more sessions, on a half-hour each time, supporting materials for memorization will be emailed direct to the client. Pre-payment prior to each session will be requested.

Your suggestion on lighting unscented candles in the Lunar Insight Column, what is the reason for that? I love the scented ones, especially Vanilla.
Answer:
I love the scent of Vanilla, too! But in candle working (magic) the scent of Vanilla may not be appropriate for the result you wish to obtain. Quite often a candle manufacturer uses synthetic fragrances instead of herbals, a natural scent of the plant. Every plant has its own magical and planetary properties. By applying the plant material yourself, you’re closer to earth energy and with the process you employ into the unscented candle, would carry your personal energy thus adding the possibility of manifesting your intention.

Basicly, I don’t want a reading on the past. I am feeling very dismal and would just like to see a little light at the end of the tunnel if possible. When a reader attempts to touch some past issues, it is usually to insure whether he or she is on the right track and should only take a couple answers to confirm it. Based on the length of your email, I came to a conclusion that these are the issues you wanted to discuss:
1. What lies the future for my company?
2. What shows for my joint book and my own book?
3. What shows for me in the area of relationships?
If I spend ten minutes on each question doing research based on your secondary progression, your reading will take me at least a half hour. You may also want to check the metaphysical stores in your area, they usually have great readers who can help you.

Yes and No. Yes, if it’s concerning a child in your custody or a family member who’d given you permission. No, if it were to “snoop” on somebody, like an ex-spouse, an ex-girlfriend, etc.

Question: How important is it to learn the essential dignities in astrology? I’m having a hard time to memorize the Planetary Rulership let alone their detriments, exaltations, etc. Is there an easier method to learn them? ~M.M. astrology aspirant
Answer: The study of Essential Dignities is the study of Planetary Powers. I personally believe that a student of astrology cannot truly determine the strength of the planets without mastering it. It is very necessary in interpreting charts. The easiest method to learn them is to keep practicing – one planet at a time, master that, then move on to the next.
Question: What is stellium?

Answer: Stellium is three or more planets in the same sign or house. Planets in a sign signify the expression of the planets accompanied by the characteristics of the sign. Planets in a house denote specific functions connected with the house.

Answer: Thank you for asking, I feel like I am back to my bookselling business days again. The court cards signify the “Who” in the spread. They can also show the part of you involved in a situation. This is easily deciphered by understanding the four elements and the twelve zodiac signs. Any book by Mary Greer or Rachel Pollack will serve a tarot student well.
Question: How are you? I have a quick question….Mark and I are pregnant. We are so happy. Would a reading be able to tell us if the baby would be born happy and healthy?
All of the tests have come back great accept… b.c of my age they are enforcing a down syndrome possibility. My tests cannot prove conclusively yes or no. Obviously he and I are pretty uncomfortable and nervous.
If the baby is healthy we have discussed that we would like the baby to grow up knowing you and attending circles with you. This is important to us! We are distant fans. Mark has attended a circle with you back in 92. He also has Virgo rising….
Can you let us know if it is possible to pin point something like this in a chart?

Answer: All books on psychic development suggest that we all have natural ability to tap the intuitive side of us, I agree. It’s only a matter of paying attention with your first impression then clarify those impressions from the gut or other sensations, without editing. Learning astrology and tarot (and continuing learning) have been my way of enhancing my intuitive nature. It’s been my focus since my husband and I opened our first bookstore, The Chela Bookstore in 1986.
