Welcome
Everything we observe in the
Universe reminds us that change is constant in life. It announces a
new birth, a death, a marriage and separation, a success and failure
in business with a huge billboard but somehow we sometimes choose to
ignore it. For some, they seek help from many sources including the
use of
spiritual counseling or divination
to give them some guidelines to uncover the root of those changes
and to hopefully understand the rhythms.

What’s New?
While being busy
counseling clients and teaching aspirants how to recognize and
handle planetary afflictions caused by eclipses, just like a
shoemaker who has no time to fix his own shoes, I somehow
totally forgot to apply it to my personal life.. Perhaps I had
this notion that since I understand astrology, I will be able to
glide along… Wrong! I have to remind myself, it’s not enough to
know that a storm is coming; I still need to take some
precautionary measures, such as to wear a raincoat should I go
out in the rain, to protect me from catching cold. And… that’s
what I’ve been romancing with the last couple of weeks,
bronchitis – not fun at all! As much as I dislike using them, I
had to give in to the doctor’s orders and take antibiotics. Or,
should I say, the ginger root and orange juice were not quite
enough to get rid of all the bugs. I want them all dead in a few
days – it’s getting in my way of having fun with the grandson.
So, to all of you
gentle people, whose classes I have rescheduled or who have had
your appointments moved to a later date, my apology. Thank you
for understanding. I am back to vitality and ready to see you
now.

Schedule Update
The new group
‘Heart and Soul’ (women, 50+) is closed, for now, until a larger
space becomes available. Thank you to those wonderful ladies who
offered their place to hold the meeting in, thank you! But I
feel the group should start from my small living room, until the
core group will have grasped the ‘Heart and Soul’ Guidelines.
I am looking
forward to Sinikka’s Annual Summer Party on August 16th.
She usually contracts me to do readings for her colleagues in
the medical field, and her circle of friends. You, too, may be
planning a party where you might wish to incorporate my
readings, please let me know. I just need 2-3 weeks advance
notice.

Tidbits Schedule Update Continued
A
Spiritual Cleansing class is being scheduled for the month of
September. This will explain ways how to clear out blockages,
(fear, frustrations, self sabotage, feeling stuck) and cleanse
your environments of negative/unfriendly energies, using what
you already have around your home, candles, prayers, and some
exercises. Watch for September schedule.

Leading the month of August is the Total Solar Eclipse in
Leo at 9 degrees, (read Lunar Insight). Every time there is a Solar
Eclipse there’s always a Lunar Eclipse within two weeks, in this case,
the Lunar Eclipse will occur on August 16th, (watch for this
month’s full moon article). It’s been noted among astrologers, that a
demise of prominent figures or leaders has often occurred during
eclipses. This Solar Eclipse is visible through northern Canada,
Greenland, Siberia, Mongolia and China.
As indicated in
last month’s Star Watch,
all giant planets are still in retrograde with the exception of Saturn,
reminding us to revisit some of those past issues revolving around
economic and health related concerns. Both Mercury and Venus are moving
into the sign of Virgo between the first and second week. Great thinkers
and speakers will come alive. On the other hand, an analytical and
prudent approach is applied to love and beauty.
For the meantime, Mars and Uranus, both planets untamed
and prone to violence, will be in opposition from Aug 1 –11, signaling a
tendency for quick judgment and harsh actions. Let’s be cautious on any
risky notions; watch your temper and feelings of frustration right
around this time. Fires and explosions, droughts and demands for food
and water (oil?) supply may be one of the causes.
Mars and Pluto square (Aug 12- 21) brings a pre-planned
provocation to the now intense situation related to the global power
structures. It’s not time to take this lightly – NOT a bluff! Be mindful
of our thoughts and actions, it can easily backfire on us.
August 22nd, the sun will move into the sign
of pragmatic Virgo. A time to examine proofs detail by detail in all
aspects of economic, personal or business.

Full Moon in
Aquarius,
Partial Lunar Eclipse

The Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius has now been felt
by many of us. This full moon presents some unusual occurrences
that may even be somewhat bizarre or just downright unrealistic.
Many will focus on Humanitarian efforts; others will inspire to
break away from any restrictive system. The sign of Aquarius is
connected to science and technology, so glitches in your
computer files may become quite frustrating around this time.
Group efforts
seeking global power have already been evident.
A rather difficult struggle between Mars and Pluto has
contributed to the intense energy of this Lunar Eclipse. (read Star Watch)
A transformational
power
that can affect our destiny has been started – for positive or

Prejudice
– a familiar foe, and it comes in many forms: racism,
chauvinism, and many other ‘isms’. It keeps us from knowing
ourselves. But come to think of it, don’t we all favor ourselves
the most? Who feels the pain when we’re hurt? Or, who rejoices
the most when we feel satisfied? As long as we are slaves to our
intellectual ideas over experience, or value comfort over effort
then we shall never realize oneness.
A child shall
always look beautiful to the child’s mother; the child is her
creation. The same way, we are inevitably partial to ourselves.
We create ourselves.
